Instructions for playing the Traveling Bear Board Game
• Each player choose a Traveling Bear character playing piece.
• To choose who goes first, each player take a turn spinning the spinner. Whoever spins the highest number goes first. Play then moves to that person’s right.
• In order to reach the finish line, a player must spin the exact number of spaces between their piece and the “Star” at the end.
• The finish line rule can be a special learning experience for children. The player who seems to be ahead throughout the game may end up last while the slowest player may be the winner. This situation may provide a good opportunity to stress the importance of having a positive attitude and not giving up.
