Dr Bui attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both his undergraduate and medical education. He did his residency in radiology at the University of Colorado School Health Sciences Center and subsequently did a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Following his fellowship, he was recruited by the University of Colorado where he held a faculty position as an associate professor of radiology for 2 years.
In addition to Dr. Bui’s expertise in musculoskeletal imaging, he has extensive experience with musculoskeletal interventional procedures such as US/CT/MR guided-biopsy, and spinal interventional procedures including epidural injections, facet blocks, discograms and sacroiliac joint injections. His areas of subspecialization include gadolinium enhanced joint imaging of the hip and shoulder, and has considerable experience with imaging of suspected femoroacetabular impingement. He has also achieved a high level of experience in assessment of the post operative spine.
